After waiting for what seemed like an eternity – with no

contacting Kuya Ronald again and resume my aborted climb. I feared, however, that I might miss my flight back to Manila the following day if some extraordinary circumstance pushes my stay in the island another day or two. I
decided, hence, to set aside my usual whim of
adventurism and head back home as quickly as I could.
I checked out of Ardent, took a single motorcycle (P50) to
the jeepney terminal bound for Benoni Port, took the jeep (P23), the ferry
(P145), walked back to the bus terminal after a breakfast at one of the
carinderias in the port, took a bus for Butuan and got home.

How to Get to Camiguin
If you are coming from Cagayan de Oro, the best way to get
to Camiguin is to take a bus for Butuan and get off at the Balingoan
Terminal. The Balingoan Port is just a short walk from the terminal, but you
can take a trike if you need help with your luggage. It is possible to take a ferry from Cagayan de Oro, but it’s more expensive. At Balingoan Port, the
